No. Basic games, free lessons, and trial lessons work without an account, and basic games can be played offline. Sign in to sync games and Academy progress online.

Can I download Better Sudoku Pro now?

This website currently presents public product information for iOS 1.0. A download entry will follow App Store availability after release.

What does Pro unlock?

Pro unlocks every Academy lesson, pair and triple highlighting, cell colors and drawing, the chain helper, and Pro themes. Auto candidates, hints, solve-all-singles, and candidate fill remain capped at 3 uses per game. The current release and purchase screen control the exact entitlement.
