Better Moment Terms of Use
Version and effective date: 2026-09-20. These product terms apply to Better Moment for iOS, together with the general BetterMac Terms and applicable Apple App Store terms. Product-specific descriptions here identify the features of this release; mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
1. Review before changing your library
Similarity, duplicates, quality, document and code detection are suggestions and may be wrong or incomplete. Review the actual items before confirming a deletion or album change. Sensitive documents and receipts require manual review; classification cannot guarantee that every sensitive item is detected. Estimated savings do not guarantee free device storage.
2. Originals, imported copies and recovery
Confirmed Photos changes follow Apple's permission, Recently Deleted and iCloud synchronization rules. Maintain backups of important material. Better Moment cannot independently restore originals or guarantee a recovery period.
Share Extension imports are separate local copies. “Clear All Better Moment Data” permanently removes these copies, local analysis, choices, history, drafts and preferences. It does not delete Apple Photos originals, Recently Deleted or iCloud Photos, undo past Photos changes, or erase system backups. Check the confirmation before proceeding. A partial failure can be retried.
3. Access and availability
You must have permission to process the media you select. You can limit Photos access or disable notifications in system settings; related features may be unavailable. Core local analysis does not require a BetterMac account or server. Apple cloud resources, website pages and email depend on their respective services and connectivity.
4. Support and purchases
This release has no account, in-app purchase, subscription, direct license or in-app support upload. Contact support@bettermac.net with the App version, iOS version and a description of the issue. Do not send private media or credentials. A future paid or connected feature will need its own applicable disclosure and purchase or consent flow.
5. Privacy and changes
See the product privacy policy for local data and external website/email processing. This revision clarifies the 2026-09-13 product terms on imports, clearing and recovery. Merely opening policy links does not authorize optional uploads or waive statutory rights.
